The mission of the Burgo Basketball Association, Inc. is to provide a safe, wholesome and nurturing environment for the youth of the South Eastern region. An environment where athletic, recreational, educational and social development thrive.
To offer a means by which area youth can further develop their athletic skills and social skills as young people through participation in a basketball league that is free from the harsh elements of drugs and gang activity.
To promote diversity and individuality while providing an opportunity for aspiring young athletes to improve their basketball skills and talents under the tutelage of veteran ball players who represent positive role models for youth.
To instill self-esteem, self-worth & provide the tools to help our children stand strong in a society where temptations are rampant.
To provide the tools to aid our children in coping with day-to-day stresses & the strength to say "no" to unhealthy choices.
